SHOZAB SLAVE OF SHAKIR

Shozab is one of the martyrs of Kerbala. He was the slave of Shakir bin Abdullah Hamdani and is considered as a great revolutionary who was martyred in an old age. Shozab had learnt many Ahadith (traditions) and used to narrate tradition from Hazrat Ali (A.S). He used to hold a gathering where Shias used to come to hear the traditions. He and Aabis took the letter of Muslim (A.S) from Koofa to Imam Hussain (A.S) at Mecca. He then accompanied Imam (A.S) to Kerbala and was martyred after Hunzala bin As'ad Shabami.
